Castle Rock State Park

We decided to start the day with a short, easy hike before meeting friends for a second trek in the afternoon. That’s when we stumbled upon Castle Rock State Park. Interestingly, this spot is where many rock climbers tackle their very first climbs.

The temperature hovered in the low 80s, but thankfully, most of the trail was shaded.

Let the rock climbing begin.
