“”Hey Dad, what’s this button for?” Z asked, super curious. “That’s how you get any leftover change,” I told them. The kids immediately started dreaming about finding forgotten coins. I warned them not to get their hopes up—most people grab their change. But somehow, by the end of the trip, they had scavenged over ¥1100 (about seven bucks). Naturally, we spent it all on more gacha toys.
